Our recently acquired 6,000 sq ft facility at Dakota Business Park includes modern offices, a dedicated showroom, and warehouse space—designed to support our continued growth and innovation in wireless communications.

The Launch

Launched in 2010 as a specialist division of the long-established Rapid Technologies Group—founded in 1980—Rapid Wireless was created with a clear mission: to simplify and strengthen wireless communication across the UK. Our journey began with a vision to bring next-generation microwave radio solutions to industries that depend on seamless connectivity—from defence and utilities to transport and telecoms. In a world where reliable communication is mission-critical, we set out to become the trusted name behind the signal.

Our Story

Our roots are proudly planted in the North West, Liverpool, where our headquarters occupy a high-tech facility at Dakota Business Park—the historic site of the old Liverpool-Speke airport. This purpose-built space houses our modern offices, demonstration showrooms, and logistics warehouse, giving us the perfect base to design, deliver and support cutting-edge communications infrastructure across the country.

Our Evolution

What began as a small distribution outfit of microwave radio communications has grown into a national supplier and technical partner for Wireless ISPs, government bodies, defence agencies and infrastructure firms. Over the years, we’ve expanded our partnerships to include global leaders like SIAE, Aviat Networks and Cambium. At the same time we have also expanded our product offerings into new and growing areas such as tower/mast builds, private 5G networks, and indoor mobile signal boosting. Our engineers are suitably qualified, our processes are ISO 9001 and Cyber Essentials accredited. We look to ensure the highest standards in security and service are met and our team reflect that.

Sales Director

Kit Stevens leads the sales team at Rapid Wireless, bringing a strong background in business and client relations. After graduating from Liverpool University with a degree in Business Economics, he built his career in the property sector before joining Rapid Wireless in 2022. Kit is focused on helping clients find the best wireless solution to suit their needs and tasked with growing the sales team at Rapid. Outside of work, Kit is a keen golfer, an avid Liverpool FC supporter and enjoys hitting the slopes whenever he gets the chance.

Graeme Wallis

Technical Director

With over 30 years at Rapid, Graeme is one of the longest-serving members of the team and a true cornerstone of the business. As Technical Director, he oversees all aspects of our technical operations, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard. Known for his expert knowledge and calm, problem-solving approach, Graeme plays a key role in shaping the company’s technical strategy and mentoring the next generation of engineers.Outside of work, Graeme enjoys spending time outdoors and with family.

Mark Stevens

Director

Mark is the founder and Managing Director of Rapid Wireless, having led the company for over 40 years. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted provider communications solutions, serving diverse sectors such as defence, government, healthcare and Wireless ISPs. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the industry have helped Rapid Wireless stay ahead in an ever-evolving technology landscape. Outside of work, you can often find Mark hitting the golf course or carving up the slopes!

Janet Wallis

Commercial Business Development Manager

Janet has been with Rapid for over 25 years, currently working as the Commercial Business Manager. Her background includes qualifications in Business and Finance, with a focus on Accountancy, Law and Management, which she utilises in day-to-day operations. When Janet's not working, she enjoys travelling, having had the chance to go on cruises in both America and Europe. She also loves spending time with her granddaughter, making memories together whenever they can.
